You can reach the Rifugio Val Intelvi family-friendly from the motorway exit Chiasso in 20 minutes if you turn on the coastal road in the valley Argegno Intelvi. From the end of the city street is about 200 m paved forest road, then you can leave your car to park on one of the two ends are located on the property spaces. The Rifugio Val Intelvi is about 4 km from Lake Como car in about 550m height above sea level in a very sunny location (sun all day) and has a nice little mountain and lake panorama. The center is within walking distance in minutes and has a small grocery store with a quote for your daily needs (fresh bread, milk, cheese, etc.). The big shopping may just 4 km away in San Fedele (all necessary for a holiday retail stores, three supermarkets) are done. To the Swiss border is only 12 km from here. A beautiful golf course (18 hole course in Lanzo) is only 8 km. The large, panoramic terrace equipped with a garden perfect for sunbathing. The nearest beach (Lido), with a pizzeria / bar has four car-km on Lake Como in Argegno, San Fedele, there is a new indoor pool with sauna.
