Liznjan is a picturesque fishing village where many tourists staying who want to avoid the summer tourist crowds. It is Located 12 km from Pula and 2 km from Medulin which are the real center of summer fun. The area of Liznjan is one of the latest oasis of untouched nature and traditional Mediterranean way of life. It owes that to its natural beauties, the long coast with a lot of intimate beaches and bays, its fertile soil and valuable forests, to fishermen and people who are in love with their village. In Ližnjan there are beautiful beaches with all facilities. Liznjan is a popular destination for surfers and has a rich sea for scuba and sport fishing. The specificity of Ližnjan, traditional agriculture and fishing, it`s 28 km coastline dotted with many rocky beaches. Marlera Peninsula and “The Beach Marlera” are the most famous of Liznjan. The beach faces south, and near it is Island of Levan with a sandy beach. The most eastern area in the south Marlera, which is about 6 km away from Liznjan is Punta Grkova, most uncrowded beaches. Below “Svetica” there are several bays with rocky beaches. At 60 acres of wild Mediterranean-type pastures growing young foals. The mild climate allows for riding through the untouched nature and beautiful pastures near the sea Marlera and Camp “Kažela”, in all seasons. Around 70 kilometers of bike paths will give you an active vacation for the soul. For diving enthusiasts a real pleasure to be a sunken Italian warship from World War I. In the old part of Ližnjan, behind two meter high stone wall, is our 300 years old Istrian house where you will find the peace and quiet that will rest your body and soul in absolute privacy of our home, your home now. Hidden from view, in the shade under 200 years old vine above the courtyard , you will experience real rural idyll of our home. Yard goes into the studio apartment consisting of bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. An outside staircase leads to double room apartment consisting of bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom. When furnishing the house we thought of all the needs that you might have so that nothing would be lacking. In the case of this happening to you we are at your service. There several restaurants with a traditional Mediterranean food serving and few shops just 100m around the house. Big supermarket is in Medulin, just 2km from the house. Distance from Pula Airport is less than 10 min by car. From Liznjan to Pula is a bus line going every 1 hour. During your stay in our little paradise you will have complete privacy.
